Car Performers

Someone thinks of a situation and assigns a part to each person in the car. For instance, you describe the situation as a group of people on a boat cruise that becomes shipwrecked on a deserted island. Then you have one person play the boat captain, two people play a couple on a honeymoon, and another is a Saudi Arabian prince. Then improvise whatever comes to mind.

Pass Around

Work as a group to come up with some silly actions, like “meow the Star Spangled Banner,” or “mime like you’re kissing your favorite movie star for 60 seconds.” Write each action on a piece of paper and crumple it into a ball. Pick one of the balls at random and pass it around in a circle, while the driver watches the odometer. When the odometer reaches a number ending in zero (or whatever number you like), he/she calls out “stop.” Whoever is holding the paper has to open it and act out what it says.

Related Words

Take turns thinking of words that relate to the previous word. For instance, the first person says “hot,” then the second person says “cold,” then the next person says “ice,” then the next person says “tea,” etc.
